Comment by Jacob Smith on June 8, 2009 at 10:39pm - I recently marinated steak in teriyaki sauce, and chicken in Mead, then cut them into chunks and wrapped them in bacon, skewered them into a kebab form, and barbequed them. It was magnificent.

Oh, but it needs a catchy name to get me internet fame and fortune like Baconapple or Pineapple Bacon Grenade..something that makes the lights at Homeland Security blink when they crawl the web for terrorists. How about Bacon Explosion INSIDE a pineapple! OMG!
Unfortunately I'm out of charcoal at the moment. We have a gas grill too but I've never turned it on.

- I haven't tried bacon outdoors, but seeing the group makes me want to stuff a pineapple with bacon and wrap it all in foil and smoke it all day. Maybe just to make all the neighbors drool, or to chop up and make kebabs with later.
